CINSO and the Center for Inquiry of Indiana is co-hosting the monthly lecture series “Cafe Inquiry.” Dr. Susan Walsh from IUPUI will talk about her work in Forensic DNA Phenotyping – using DNA from a crime scene to help narrow down a suspect list. Her work was recently featured in the NY Times. She has been awarded a $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice to develop and improve “DNA intelligence” tools that may help identify unknown suspects, perpetrators and missing persons.
